Why moving with the seasons works

Moving with the Seasons builds on our previous  community wellbeing programmes delivered across Lancashire. Independent evaluation using University of Oxford wellbeing surveys has shown:

  • Nearly 50 % reduction in reported stress levels after an 8 week course

  • Around 50% increase in overall life satisfaction and quality of life

  • Significant gains in mindful awareness, attention and focus

Funded by Sport England and National Lottery players

Moving with the Seasons is funded by Sport England thanks to National Lottery players.

Their support means we can offer these sessions free of charge to people in Blackburn with Darwen who most need support to move more, feel better and connect with others.
